The JEE-Advanced exam results were released on Sunday morning, and Shishir RK, a student at Bengaluru’s Narayana e-Techno School, placed first nationwide.
Shishir, who is getting set to fly to Hyderabad for the celebration at his school’s headquarters, said the results are the result of years of well-planned hard work.
“I used to study every day from 6.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eight hours of sleep each night was crucial for me. I could only focus the following day in class. I used to watch some YouTube videos after 8 o’clock. I adore math, therefore it would be some games or educational videos,” Shishir stated when asked about his schedule.
In the state of Karnataka’s common entrance exam, Shishir secured the fourth rank. Since sixth grade, Shishir has attended Narayana School. In eighth grade, he began to prepare for the JEE. In class 10 examinations, he received a 90.6%, and in class 12 exams, a 96.2%.
When I was in class 11, the actual preparations started. Every week’s timetable was mapped out by the school. I made an effort to adhere to it and concentrate on those issues, he stated.
The Times of India-Bangalore has employed Shishir’s father, R V Krishna Kumar, for 20 years. For all of us, it is a proud occasion. Krishna Kumar stated, “He has made us proud”. Shishir’s mother is a homemaker.
Shishir plans to take computer science at IIT-Bombay.
